The first fracture
NOX begins seeing a different version of himself inside a dark mirror.
At first, it is a movement arriving a fraction too late. Then it is an expression he does not remember making. Behind the black glass, his reflection seems to recognize a room he has never entered.
The reflection remembers what he cannot.
He stands in the empty room until the red light outside gives way to morning. When he looks away, he can still feel someone watching.
The song is the first fragment. The story begins on the other side of the glass.
